Enamel pin grading is very subjective and varied, and since they are handmade items no pin is identical and/or perfect. Please be aware when purchasing.

Standard Pins

The offered pin(s) are mostly free from major imperfections, but may have some of the following minor imperfections:

Superficial marks or scratches on metal or enamel surface

Superficial specks, dots, or bubbles on enamel

Slightly low or uneven fills

Slightly misaligned screen printing (on screen printed pins)

Other superficial imperfections that are noticeable upon very close-up inspection and/or specific angle(s).

Seconds

The offered pin(s) have very noticeable imperfections and/or multiple defects.

Smudges and/or staining on the metal or enamel surface

Oxidization of the metal

Deep scratches across large areas of the pin

Very low fills in major areas of the pin

Misaligned screen printing (on screen printed pins)
